Hate to say this but Dickhead nailed it. Been seeing them skies for a few years now. I say they are different, but no-one believes me. This proposal is almost a stupid as when Russia wanted to put mirrors in space to melt the ice. This issue is now being directed towards the sun. So even if their hair-brained scheme did work, it would matter not. In a world of ice you would still die of heat exposure. Everyone is waiting for Nibiru in 2012. By NASA's own craft that found it, by their own science that plotted its course is also by their own hand to debunk it. Gotta love the irony.

Problems with this: 1) Some volcanoes produce gases that add to greenhouse warming and this isn't constant across the globe. Sometimes one hemisphere will show a real increase while the other shows a real decrease in temperatures and this can also change across seasons. 2) fine particles in the stratosphere don't just reflect the sunlight (peoples, it's radiation!) they also heat up. So you're heating the stratosphere more than normal with no real idea of how it will react with the neighbouring ionisphere or troposphere. 3) Let's imagine you're fucking nuts and go through with this and it works and you cool down the globe - congratulations. Let's imagine that a short time after that the earth decides to go into a mini ice-age similar to those witnessed a few times over the last 1000 years. What are your plans then?

Not only did we have a colder than normal winter here in southeast Michigan, but so far, every single day in the month of June has had lower than normal temperatures. If global warming is for real, where is it? Why is it colder than normal if the world is supposed to be heating up?

25 to 30 years ago it was New Ice Age scam. Now, on a wider level it is the Global Warming scam. Take a long look at the legislators that are the verge of passing regulations and legislation to counter Green House gases and what stocks they own. As always... follow the money is a good axiom. This, like the New Ice Age is a complete scam to which the world it seems has gotten on the bandwagon with and either accepted it and/or invested heavily in it and will propagate the scam to make a buck. In the 70's they were even considering painting the Arctic Ice black with soot to attract the sun's energy to "warm" the planet. And people follow blindly these very same kooky ideas that have absolutely no merit or even proof that CO2 is a contributing factor to any global warming or that Global Warming is even a reality. The models are flawed. The data inadequate and manipulated to get the desired results. This has been proven time and time again... and yet... not enough people give a damned to say hey! WTF are you morons doing up there in the guvment. The bounds of human stupidity seems to increased exponentially day by day.

Even if global warming is not an issue, acidification of the oceans pose a real threat. I don't think global warming is a scam, i suppose that the global dimming seen in the 70 was the consequence of the soot release in the atmosphere by the not so clean diesel particulates of the time, Now soot and particulate pollution is on the decrease, which could explain the global re-warming seen these past decades call this a phony theory if you like...

The Earth is in a cooling cycle now, because the sun is experiancing a period of low surface activity (yes, chillun' it's the SUN that determines the Earth's temperature, more than other factor...who woulda thunk it?). The race is on to do something, anything...pass some legislation, blow up some nukes, dance around a fire with a headless chicken...anything at all, to be able to say "we stopped global warming!".... ...'cause they are all well aware things are starting to get colder now, and they don't want to look like the fucktards they truly are.

You know, I am so glad there are a few of us on Rotten that remember back in the Seventies and all the Ice Age scares. Most of the people who have been brainwashed into believing in global warming either weren't around, or don't remember when brilliant,highly educated scientists explained how the Earth was cooling at such a rapid pace that drastic measures needed to be done. In fact, if you simply switch around cold and cooling down for hot and warming up, it's practically the same bullshit, just a different decade.
