The outsourcing of America continues. Isn't the New World Order great?

^^^^ But can't you see that taking away the buying power of US workers and sending the jobs to Asia is good for the economy? well.. good for the stock holders and execs, but not for the workers now selling the crap at Wal-mart they used to make for triple the wages and benifits

Ain't the race to the bottom just great? Someone will out bit lax environmental laws with no environmental laws. They will get outbid by someone who will do that and also has even lower wages, all the way down to none - slavery, chain gangs, etc. They will get out bid by somone who will see that and raise them a (corporate) welfare check in the name of bringing industry into the area provided 5 percent gets kicked back to them. And down and down we go.

Praying that eight out of every ten dollars would simply disappear. America deserves a long, nasty economic depression...followed by the utter depopulation of China via. neutron radiation.

All American have to do is not buy the "made in China" products and the outsourcing would stop tomorrow. Anything else is just whining.

Read an article in a retail trade journal a year or so ago that people who are most likely to lose their jobs due to their employers shipping said jobs overseas to meet Wal-Mart's low cost demands almost exclusively shop at Wal-Mart. Obviously, this is in part due to the low wages earned by many factory workers who have little choice but to stretch their dollars, but it is also due in part of Americans' seeming insatiable desire for huge quantities of cheap crap.

Yup, we are collectively screwed. What is going to happen when the interest rates go up? I'll tell you: people will no longer be able to live off their equity. Housing prices will drop. Since nobody will be able to declare bankruptcy, things are going to rapidly go from bad to worse. Who in their right mind is going to make payments on a mortgage when the property value is worth less then what is owed? So there will be foreclosures, forcing values down even more. People won't even be able to afford Walmart, especially when the Chinese stop lending us money. Oh won't it be just grand? Who would have guessed that Bush will have done what no past president has ever done, including Hoover, totally bankrupt the US of A. Actually this is their plan, because they can install a Fascist state by fiat. How does 30 more years of Dub sound?

Just about few years ago, there were still massacres aqnd discriminations against Chinese in Indonesia, Singapore,Korea, and Japan, , and now all those asian barbarians want to hug us looking at us like we are the great asian hope. Sometimes i just want to bring an ak-47 and go to indonesia, pick out all the aborginal indonesian barbarians and shoot them all in the fucking head. Peopl;e like Americans and Europeans have no idea what we have been through. they just don't know, and don't care, and lots of them hate us too. We are like Jewish, but only with an even worse fate

I try to tell people I personally know to NOT shop at Wal-Mart. But all they give me is their "but they're so much cheaper" crap. It's tempting to start shopping there myself. And throw paint down the water drains, and not recycle, etc. Can't people see -- it's always been the ME generation. And I LOVE what comes up first when you Google 'failure'! ok - the first 2 things are pretty funny.

i'd love to stop buying shit made in china, mexico, or anywhere else. fat fucking chance, walmart or not. it wouldn't matter where you shopped, anymore... most everything comes from some other place, and chances are, it's gonna be china. truth is, we're all just fucked. we didn't get wealthy by the late 90s and we're never gonna be, and because of this, we get to shove our hands firmly up our own asses and enjoy the one-horse open sleigh ride straight to hell. i'd tell someone to prove me wrong, but i don't even care anymore. there's nothing anyone can do about it, they've won and all we can do on principle is stop buying shit, depriving ourselves of whatever. i'm just going to jump ship as soon as it's possible. je dois aller français d'étude maintenant.

Another reason walmart (I'm now calling it 'Dubya'- mart lol), makes a lotta green is due to price gouging too. Some items may be cheap whether or not the item is on sale, while another item is almost two bucks more than what a local walgreen's sells it for. ie:neutrogena body emulsion is over seven bucks at dubya-mart and its about five bucks at walgreen's. So they're definitly more than making up the money while they're still cheating employees.

It's official: capitalism just doesn't work anymore. Not when some zipperhead is WILLING to do an American's job for practically free. It's like Satan bred these people with the specific goal of bringing down the USA. Well I guess it's partly the USA's fault for having unreasonable environmental laws.

Ain't that the truth. I was driving the other day, & got caught at a RR Crossing. As the train rolled by, I noticed that all the cars were flatbeds, each one piled up with shipping containers from...you guessed it, China. That really brought it home, thousands, & thousands of containers, all filled with goods bound for American markets, all straight from China. What the hell has Bush done to us? I mean the least he could do is to stop the tax giveaway for outsourcing employees. Talk about adding insult to injury.

why just mention the surfboard company. every company is doing it. i live in an area where there are a lot of rich corporate assholes who work in new york city and there job is to find ways to save the company money. Of course if you talked to any of these people you would be suprised how unintellegent and noncreative they are, and that outsourcing is an quick and profitable solution to make them look good and get them selves a huge raise to pay for there hummers and jersey shore and hampton houses while the workers get laid off. they are no diffrent than the people at network tv who come up with "new tv ideas" that rip off other popullar shows.

Why don't some of the whiny shiftless fucks who always cry "outsourcing' actually learn to do something useful. If an 8 y.o Vietnamese orphan took your job, you were not that special. If you had actually showed up for a few classes, smoked a few less bowls and got a degree that actually meant something, you wouldn't have to worry about it. This country was founded for people like myself who wish to control their own destiny. Not for a bunch of bitches wanting dead end jobs and handouts. If I were some lazy punk ass in a cubicle I would be in a world of shit. But since I actually get dirty at work, for a company I own, I'll be ok. All the slopes in China couldn't pave a street in my area. Luckily I just got a new board last year, Custom made by some 60s burn-out who was shroomed out of his mind the whole time. The way god intended.
