As much as I wanted to spout off about the horrible treatment of hookers by governments, I actually read the story, first and found that this case isn't very clear cut. The prosecution could not disprove his self defense story. It is pretty common for hookers to also be thieves, and very common for thieves to attack victims when they get caught.

He was found guilty manslaughter, and did 14 months. What is the average time given to those found guilty of manslaughter in Ontario?
