Burning Man Teaches Fire Is Hot
KTVU | Submitted by: Veggie
"A man who was burned at the Burning Man Festival in Nevada in 2005 when he threw a friend's photograph into the flames lost a bid to a state appeals court in San Francisco Tuesday to sue the event promoter... Beninati approached the bonfire after the statue had collapsed. After throwing his friend's photo into the flames, he took a few more steps forward and tripped and fell into the fire, badly burning both hands, according to his lawsuit."

It was the Burning Man Festival, and he was the burning man. It's like playing poker with a group of friends. If you don't know who the sucker is, it's because the sucker is you.

Burning Man would be cool if it was more like Wicker Man.

So, diving into a bon fire is NOT grounds for a law suit? What is this world coming to. The next thing you know, will be that pouring hot coffee on your lap won't be grounds for a law suit either.

After throwing his friend's photo into the flames, he took a few more steps forward and tripped and fell into the fire, badly burning both hands, according to his lawsuit. **** Woulda been funnier if at the end of the trial the judge called the numbnut forward and banged both his hands with his gavel before clanking him a good one on the forehead...

I could maybe see a law suit if the thing fell over into the crowd but this idiot fell over his own feet. Crap like this should never make it to court. Balif! Wack his pee pee

What a fool! They should have burned HIM in the 'Man. Matter of fact, should be in the contract "If the person sues, they voluntarily release themselves as human sacrifices..." Can't there be one F*cking place on earth people can actually pretend they are free just for a little while?

It's a red banner day! Finally, a judiciary that doesn't have their head up their ass. As for the "victim", Darwin is onto you, idiot.

From: aulduron [Aulduron] Date: 4-Jul-2009 20:29 He's now trying to sue his dealer for not telling him all that dope he was on would make him stupid. ¥ ¥ ¥ Yeah, everyone knows these Burning Man events aren't about 'performance art' or 'alternative cuture' they are just a thin pretense to get high as a motherfuck in the desert and play make believe as if it is just like Mad Max during the festivities.
