Coffie's attorney, Jon Loevy, said he believed it was the totality of the evidence in the case that led to the favorable verdict. Loevy had presented evidence that an internal police investigation uncovered screwdrivers in the car used by the officers, that Coffie had an injury to his rectum and that a forensic test suggested there was human fecal matter in the car's glove compartment. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Were the screwdrivers in question given any form of sniff test? Of course they used a screwdriver, it's just common sense. Nobody in their right mind would want to stick their finger up there. I don't see what the outrage about this is. He got $4M for something that would have happened anyhow when he eventually ended up in prison.

The defence maintained throughout the trial that the officers in question where just complying with the man's wishes when he yelled at them over and over "Screw you". Both Chicago officers testified that the man became INSTANTLY calmer DURING the search, ACTUALLY preventing possible injury to all parties.

Just make a movie depicting, in the best Dirty Harry or Godfather or Texas Chainsaw massacre manner, that the correct retaliation is to murder them in a pit with their children and three generations of family - a punishment of threes as was the custom in Asia. Of course,in my movie script, totally fictional of course, of course, the added minor fact that three elections were thrown as part of the plan that was carried out will be what unites all of America to get the guilty back. Harder than ever even described before by any American in any script. Grabbing the presumed guilty and their families out of their homes (keep in mind that these people to be depicted are not the street cops they are the senior US DOJ and US DOD officials who knew, authorized, and then did nothing.) and murdering them in a pit with no one defending them or crying out. All to prove that what happened back in Germany in WWII is still here in a more hidden way. Let my movie be made and let the presumed guilty (the involved) have no worry. They did nothing wrong, move along, nothing to know, move along, nothing we are going to admit to, move along. The elections are ours to decide and that's that. I like my movie script (fictional, and in a first amendment right of free speech, as a point of political discussion, as i always try to reiterate out loud or in writing) better than a jury trial. The worst thing for my movie series is for the US government to admit every last item minuscule to major. Poof goes most of the anger of the movie.
