well ain't that a stumper..IE you say. I thought IE didn't suffer from blown margins... hmmm, My resolution is set to 1280x1024, and my margins are not blown. I am using firefox though, and it is normally the first browser to suffer from blown margins. I am going to need more input if I am going to discover whether it is a browser issue or a resolution issue. I have a feeling it is a resolution issue. The animated Gif is 5x1200 pixels. If I shorten it a bit, it may become a little more forum friendly.

Theo, my screen res is 1024 x 768, plus I have done the ctrl + scroll down to make everything smaller in the browser. Still need to scroll across. My eyes aren't good enough to go any smaller.

Right then...here it is... Duder's software thumbnails the images we post here. But what are the limitations of the thumbnailing? The Gif that is blowing the margins is showing up full size. (that took some figuring.) You will notice that the animation travels all the way across the screen. It is not usual for images to do so here. I could do the same thing vertically (and I just might). I would like to know how long a post I can make. Can I beat the 64 line limit? does a super tall Gif count as 1 line or more? Fair warning : I am going to be checking exactly that next. Be prepare to scroll and scroll and scroll to past my next experiment. If you want this thread to fit on your screen I would suggest that rather than changing the font size, you change your screen resolution, 1280x1024 is what my screen was set at as I made the animation. It fits.
