Since the worst of the criminals are in the white house, capitol and supreme court do you expect the rest of the govt. to be uncorrupted? Time for a new revolution folks, wake up and smell the gun powder.

Hey MONKEYHEAD!!! Do me a favor, shit-rag, and quit breathing oxygen. Also, I hope some Fed does sumthin to your mother. Anyway...... NOT All fed cronies are bad and we know it. But it pisses me off when they make all this illegal money and then only get a small fine, maybe an overnite in jail, and get sent home to wife and shitbags. The one who ripped his mother off $18K, stopped paying her retirement home fees and maxed her credit cards should be shot on the spot. YEAH! On the spot! Like MONKEYHEAD.

Hmm, you know.. with the exception of Bella, I don't recall getting personal with any of you. So, what is with all the childish insults? I don't have anything to say in the defense of these people. There are bad people in eveyr proefession. Just like there seems to be a lot of immature people who post here. I, for the most part, keep my posts non confrontational and try to refrain from personal insults. I usually try to inform or clarify. There have been exceptions to that.. even I have been known to get annoyed occasionally. *shrug* But I do try to keep it civil. Y'all really should read your own posts, though.. you sound like a bunch of 13 yr olds trying to get away with something "dirty". I can almost hear the childish snorts of suppressed laughter. (*Snort* *Snort* I showed him. *Snicker*) I really hope you don't expect me to take such idiocy seriously. If you really want to "show me" then I advise you to read up on the topic at hand (which ever one we are talking about at the time) and "show me up" with your knowledge... but to do that you should try to find a topic where I'm gonna disagree with the article. The only one of the incidents in the article that I have a problem with is the Border Patrol Agent who married and lived with an undocumented alien. I don't know the laws on it, but it seems to me if she's married to an American Citizen then she's an American Citizen. I have never asked a girfriend for proof of residency as a prerequisite fora relationship... and I don't see why they are condemning him for not doing it either... it is an unrealistic expectation even if it is a little embarrassing for the department. Look people I don't have a problem saying that Law Enforcement Officers fuck up when they actually fuck up. I do have a problem with everyone automatically assuming guilt of ANYBODY over one wild allegation with no supporting evidence. It is funny in a way. We get so many articles in here where the person is charged with a crime.. or convicted of a crime.. and y'all will be trying to justify it... but if I don't condemn an officer in an article where the only evidence shown is that someone said they did something then I'm biased. When the bias is y'all condemning them out of hand without any actual evidence showing that they did it. If the prosecution doesn't have all of their ducks in a row you'd let a killer walk, pointing out technicalities and blaming the officers for mistakes in the investigation, but let one person make an unsupported allegation against an officer and you are ready to build a gallows. I do NOT defend all cops. I have said on several occasions, when there was actual evidence against an officer that they deserved what they got. But I am pushed into a defensive role a lot of times because YOU are convicting the officer int he story without anything except someone's unsupported word. Y'all automatically assume the Officer is in the wrong.. and I really, honestly don't understand that. Hell, I've been trying to stay AWAY from these threads lately, but if I don't post then some idiot will say "Morte, not going to say anything?" So, then I'm stuck... I don't necessarily want to get into these idiotic discussions anymore, but I also don'twant to look like I'm hiding. The last 3 or 4 have been that way. You HATE me because of my job. And honestly, though I accept that, I don't understand it at all. I have saved lives because of my job. I have helped people because of my job. I have made my little part of the world marginally safer because of my job. I've arrested child abusers before they finally killed the kid because of my job.. I've helped women get out of abusive relationships (or at least gave them the opportunity to leave) because of my job. I've seen a forcible rapist get put away for a long time because of my job... but you hate me for doing all that. And, though I accept that hate.. and face it everytime I post on here.. I have never really understood it. Some cop somewheres some time in the past either treated you or your family member or your friend in a way that you didn't apporve. And because of that you hate me.. a person you've never met. That just seems so.. childish and stupid.. to me. Cops and Deputies and Troopers do fuck up.. In fact I can guarantee that most, if not all, of them fuck up at least once in their career. It is impossible to be at the sharp end for 30 years without ever making a mistake. Especially in a field where almost everything is a judgment call. realistically an officer works 47 weeks a year. If he only makes 20 judgment calls a week (that is a really light week at 4 a day for the ones working 5 days a week) That's still what? 940 judgment calls a year. Damn near a thousand, so we'll round it off at a thousand... that is still WAY under the amount of calls that an officer actually deals with. That comes up to 20k to 30k judgment calls in his career depending on the length of time he serves. They are going to make mistakes. *shrug* Those mistakes, however, are just fuckups... they aren't deliberate. Just like an umpire in a game, sometiems we make a bad call. The ones that do it deliberately... those are the ones that I'm as hard on as y'all are. The difference is that I want to KNOW that they did it. Just like I want to KNOW if anyone did a crime before they are hung for it. I don't let my prejudices interfere with my job... yet it is YOUR prejudices that speak everytime you condemn an officer without ANYTHING to support an accusation.

You expect me to be more than you could ever hope to be. You expect me, as an officer, to step above my prejudices.. and I do.. even though y'all obviously can't step above yours to meet me halfway. You expect me to be professional at all times... yet y'all ahve posted many stories on here where you were unprofessional to an officer that stopped you... You expect me to always be friendly and civil regardless of the day I've had, but y'all seem be incapable of basic civility to the point of going out of your way to antagonize someone without provocation.. just because. And even if I am all that... and I usually am.. even then... you condemn me and insult me, just because of my job.. regardless of the type of person I am. I don't take the insults personally. I honestly care less. But the malice behind it... the prejudism behind it... it really saddens me sometimes. Not necessarily because of y'all. Just in general. Parents scaring their kids.. "You'd better behave or that officer is going to arrest you." I hear that shit at least once a week. Or I do something really worthwile... Or a coworker does... and it is never acknowledged... I see the good things that happen... the things that police officers do.. life saving and life changing things done for people... but the only thing that is ever acknowledged by the public is the negative... that really really wears on you after a while. Some of y'all REALLY think that all police officers are shit. We aren't even real people to you. Just a uniform. Yet I have probably done more positive things in my life... helped more people in my life.. that most you have. How many tires have you changed for stranded females? I bet you I've done well over a hundred. How many people have you stopped to help on the side of the road... helped htem call a tow truck or ride them up to the store to get some gas.. little things that most definitely are not part of Law Enforcement but still things that Police officers do every day. Hell I do stuff like that when I'm off duty... in civilian clothes.. in my Blazer. If I'm not comfortable stopping because of safety factors I'll call the department and have them send a car to do a welfare check. I would say that about a quarter of our calls are Assist Citizen calls. That is over a hundred thousand a year. In this city. We ahve more assists than we have traffic stops, I can tell you that for sure. The only officers that have more traffic stops in our department than assists are units that are specifically assigned traffic enforcement. Jump Starts.. Helping people who've locked their babies in hte car in the summer time... I've done Hundreds and hundreds of assists... Thousands. And in the same amount of time I've had 11 complaints. All of them unfounded... all for stupid shit. 9 of them from people I cited.. just trying to get me in trouble for revenge. And that is not an abnormal record in my department. But you hate me and the people I work with because we wear a uniform. On the other side of that. How many people have I made up charges on... 0. How many unresisting people have I used force on? 0. How many people have I let go with a warning? Hundreds. How many resisting people have I hurt unnecessarily? 0. *sigh* So what have I actually done? That is the question. Point out anywheres where I've actually done anything... other than wearing a uniform. And show me where wearing that uniform is a bad thing.

Don't really care, Goyle. Actually it was a pretty good post.. and this one is going to be my last one for a while. I'm at the point where most of the posts on here disgust me instead of entertain or enlighten. Time for me to take another break. Probably for another month or 6. Bella, I understand why you hate.. I really do... it is called a psychosis... but they do make meds for it... or at least shock treatments... possibly a lobotomy. Seek help. No, I mean it.. all jokes aside... make an appointment with a shrink and get on something... normally I don't promote chemical dependency, but in this case it is probably best for society at large... it will help with those hallucinations (My rapist is in prison.. and I made sure to befriend the baddest person in there so he can get raped daily) and those psychotic episodes where you get manic and have to find drama. Like today. Of course you might already be on meds... actually that is likely now that I think about it (it would explain the massive mood swings between "normal" and "way fucking out there")... TAKE THEM. Don't bother responding.. I am not checking this thing for at least a month... maybe Rotten will be enjoyable again by then. you probably will respond, though.. just because your posts are never really aimed at me... even when they are directed at me.. they are for the benefit of the audience. This kind of post is not my normal... I fucking hate insult fests.. childish bullshit... I actually come on here to read differing opinions and get into the occasional intelligent debate.. it just seems like the posts and a lot of the posters have degraded from discussions to childish drama fests and even more childish insult sprees... that, my friends, is not entertainment. Teenagers act more mature. People I arrest act more mature. While they are being arrested. Boggles the fucking mind.

If these people had any brains, they would pick up temporary new identities when they go on duty, and cease to exist when done. Surprised they don't.

wtf. good old american ingenuity !!! its what capitalism and free enterprise are all about !!! anyways, whilst we're on the topic of cops, know how to get a rise out of them? just ask the 'hypothetical' question how much a hit on a cop costs. - a swack of dough because those shootings are investigated with great vigor, or - hardly anything at all because so many people hate them all they need is a loaded gun. which is it? arm and a leg or peanuts? make sure you present it as a 'hypothetical' question and slyly elude to the 'possibility' you 'may have' have already 'looked into this socio-psychological hypothesis'. then tell them another 'possibility' is you 'may' have ALREADY LOOKED INTO SOMETHING OF THIS SORT IN CASE THEY DECIDE TO COME AFTER YER ASS ON TRUMPED UP CHARGES. remember; its all hypothetical, merely musings about a whole bunch of possibilities eh? makes for some real interesting conversation.
