1906 all over again
San Francisco Chronicle | Submitted by: anonymous
"The next major earthquake on the Hayward Fault - inevitable anytime now, experts say - will be the Bay Area's own Hurricane Katrina, affecting more than 5 million people, causing losses to homes and businesses of at least $165 billion and total economic losses of more than $1.5 trillion, scientists warn."

San Francisco is The City that Waits to Die. Little-known Colma, down the Peninsula a bit where most of the cemeteries are located, is known as The City that Waits for the City that Waits to Die, to Die.

Good! We need more 'flat' jokes from freeway and structure collapses. If you take the 880, you can get there in five minutes FLAT! New Yorkers are the fastest readers in the world. They can go through 110 stories in five seconds flat!

Western Nevada property might be a good bet also. We can't even look at the news without seeing something fucked up anymore. No wonder Rotten.com is reaching it's maturity stage.

Haliburton/FEMA = East India Company. Blackwater = Hessians. The names change, but assholes never do. You all know how to deal with tyrannical fuckstains like this,,. The Chinese have been experimenting in causing earthquakes using nuclear bombs, I'm sure the US government has *plenty* of research into the subject. Earthquakes in Nepal and NW China during an exceedingly convenient political crisis? Wait until CA is crippled by skyrocketing fuel costs, then you'll see the next 'big one'...and the subsequent FEMA takeover. Oh, and FEMA isn't a disaster management agency, it's what is going to take over should the feds become 'ineffective'.

seismologist Thomas Brocher. He is a leader of the "1868 Alliance," a consortium of quake experts and local officials working to persuade Bay Area residents to learn the elements of earthquake preparedness, to retrofit homes and businesses, to hold earthquake drills in every school and to keep emergency supplies on hand. AND to tuck your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye?!?

The warning bell has been sounding in California since the 60's. The smart ones moved to Oregon 20 years ago - who's left? Oh, yeah. The criminal invaders.

I'm moving to Colorado in a month or so...CA is just getting impossible to tolerate any longer. It's hot, polluted, overcrowded, racial tensions are rampant, crime is ridiculous, and everything costs at least 30% more than it should. Maybe Piscivore will turn up in Commie's Colorado venture?

Actually Blue, Haven't you heard of Scalar Weapontry? The Chinese aren't using Nukes fer Earthquakes .. It's Telsa.. I'm very suprised you didn't mention this. The Soviets Have had these weapons on line since Mayday of 1985. We are so far behind, even Haarp is a toy. Sounds gloomy huh?

Pedro was driving down the street in a sweat because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking place. Looking up toward heaven, he said "Lord, take pity on me. If you find me a parking place I will go to Mass every Sunday for the rest of my life and give up tequila." Miraculously, a parking place appeared. Pedro looked up again and said, "Never mind. I found one."

Durp...I knew nukes were a bit iffy, but yeay, Planar sounds about right. Ole' Tesla was a genius of the freaky type...some say he had created zero-point energy, or at least the theory that would allow it to be produced given enough funding and resources. Free energy proponent = major target for those who profit off selling the stuff at exorbitant rates.

I lived in Colorado springs until quite recently and let me tell you man, it's just like pseudo-California. If its not focus on the family, then its the new life church. If it's neither of those then you'll get the dribble of liberal retards coming from Denver and Boulder that will make you want to end your life in a violent manner. The grass over here is MUCH greener though. (in more ways then one).

The eastern US isn't safe from earthquakes either. The New Madrid Fault isn't as active but in 1811 there was an 8.0 magnitude quake which caused the Mississippi river to flow backwards. When this one lets loose again, it'll make california quakes look like childs play

At least 1,100 Bay Area roads could be closed by a Hayward Fault quake, Perkins said - 900 in Alameda County alone. ========== I was stuck in SF for 3 hours once because of a single vehicle traffic accident on an exchange. I'd keep my hiking boots ready.
