The mayor, and the entire City Council needs to be removed from office (Marcia Conyers is the worst of the bunch). I'd bet that the mayor is the whistle blower, here, trying to get back at the council for trying to remove him.

I was dropped off in brewster once.   My 'friends' thought it was a prank. Those projects are loaded with 10,000 plus of the most hateful niglet fucks you could ever imagine. I don't care what anyone says... there isn't a white place on Earth where a black man would be harassed and attacked by THOUSANDS of whites. I thought I was going to die, LOL! I had glass ashtrays and crack pipes raining down on me from 14 flights up. Fucking n!gs collected behind my running white ass like locusts. I still wonder how it got so loud. Monkey chatter is what it sounded like. Frenzied little monkeys in the trees. I think it's funny how I outran them all. Kinda figured they'd be faster. They just don't have what it takes to be 'civilized'... and I'm still trying to figure out who ever came upon such a preposterous thought!

I've walked past the Brewster Projects many times, and never had to run away. There are some real bad places in town, but that's not one of them.

I'm talking about 15 years ago. brewsters nothing now... two of the 6 buildings have been demolished, the number of monkeys hanging from it's trees are nothing compared to the 10,000 plus back in the day. I doubt you'd be able to walk through them. By them, maybe. Try walking through them.

I'm not taking about yesterday, either. I lived by there about 20 years ago. Those projects are actually at a couple different sites, but the ones you showed are right next to the freeway. I wouldn't walk into those buildings alone, but I'd walk past them.
