"South Carolina prison officials will continue to discipline inmates who perform public sex acts by dressing them in pink after a lawsuit over the policy was dismissed, officials said Friday... While the case was being litigated, Ozmint changed the policy to affect only inmates who performed sex acts in public or committed sexual misconduct against a prison staffer."

Pink was all the rage a while ago, half the guys in town walking around looking complete dorks in pink T-shirts.  Me, I wouldn't be seen dead in a pink T-shirt or any other pink item of clothing. Blue has to be my favourite colour, then grey, black, white, green, red, yellow. Not fussed on beige, brown, or purple.

What does this article mean? I am one US Veteran however I like to wear pink on times that it makes me feel comfortable of myself. I would enjoy to be the man who dresses the inmates in the pink clothing!

The pink just makes them easier to identify for the other prisoners. That way they can be sure to beat the life out of the ones who really need it. Bella, short tale to tell I was driving through Denver with my cousins hubby. As we are traveling I hear sirens and see lights coming, firewagons. I pull over as does all of the traffic. This guy in a pink leotard and tutu with roller skates dances out in front of the rapidly approaching firewagons and does several pirouettes, before taking off to the other side of the street. You could hear the driver of the firewagon open the throttles and downshift, trying hard to hit the dancing fairy. Cousins hubby looks at me and asks "what the hell was that?" I smiled and just said "Denver" and kept on driving.

This case begins to stink badly of violations of human rights,at the very least and also sounds too much like the way the Nazi's did the Jews and gay people et al. It also smells badly that the State is promoting hatred of sexual minorities - - - - - Ok this was off the comments under the article. Now I for one do not get this. How can you compare people who have committed horrid crimes to the Jews who were persecuted by Nazi's for no other reason than they were Jewish? This reminds of a show (I think it was 20/20) that was profiling prison chain gangs in the South. The black prisoners were up in arms because they said it was akin to the days of slavery. Well no it wasn't. The slaves didn't willfully break the law. As far as the state promoting hatred of sexual minorities. Isn't the state saying "fuckers you want to act like idiots you are going to dress so we can identify you". Personally though I do like the idea of a pink tutu.

Ive been working on a movie reveiw for jonas brothers and "tron" on myspace. I now think that the bad guys in tron were slighlty pinkish more so than redish. After all the blue is kinda neon light blue. its confusing. I like to wear shades of brown and sometimes yellow and orange. Orange is a prison color as well.
