I've been a first year law student. I have since learned the importance of THUMB DRIVES. Anyone too stupid to back up that much work is just asking for it the first time they download virus-infected porn. Then again, I sympathize. I used to hope for a semi to run me over so I wouldn't have to take finals...and hope that my laptop would survive just in case I did and had to take finals anyway.

From the looks of that assclown, a few whacks with the bat might have been an improvement.

The robber will never live this down. To bad the law student did not have a gun, or a dozen tazers linked together....

"I was like, 'Oh my God.' I'm so glad he watched all those police shows his whole life … He knew how to take care of himself … I'm very, very, very proud of him." -------------------------------------------- I don't even know where to begin on this one. Let me guess? Mom weighs over 300 pounds and spends all her time glued to the tv? Also, is this the burglar or the student?

Yeah, when it gets around in prison that this dumb fuck let a law student beat the crap out of him he may as well put on a dress.

"I was like, 'Dude, no -- please, no!" Botsios said. "I have all my case notes…that's four months of work!" ---------------------------- Spoken like a true 1L-- risk your fucking life just to save your piss-poor notes on the impact of "MacPherson v. Buick" in the development of American tort law. ----------------------------- BTW, the perp lookes like Satan.

If that asswipe would have tried to steal my guitars, I'd shove that bat down his throat and pull it out his ass.

'Oh my God.' "I'm so glad he watched all those police shows his whole life." "He knew how to take care of himself" **************************************************** LOL! Thank God for Police Academy! What a dumbass parent! Having a mum like that is worse than getting robbed in the first instance. Poor Guy.

Don't police shows all tell you not to fight back and wait for the Authorities to take care of it? Like that's going to happen.

That is correct. If he has a knife or gun to you, you ask "please wait" you call 911 and you wait for assistance. It will come quickly. Our state guidlines allow us 15 min max response time.

and you should ask him to show his permit for the weapon. If he has none, he will gladly put it down.

"Spoken like a true 1L-- risk your fucking life just to save your piss-poor notes on the impact of "MacPherson v. Buick" in the development of American tort law." Not to mention that no one briefs after the first semester. Briefing is useless, takes too much time, and generally, no 1L knows shit about anything. Even if they get all the facts right, you don't really "get" how to read a case till 2L, if then. I still don't know half of what I'm talking about most of the time, which means I am going to make a GREAT lawyer.
