I live down river a few miles from Huntington and am missing a few teeth myself. Of course mine were lost in a hockey game and the time Wifey hit me in the kisser with a cast iron skillet when she caught me in bed with two gals. Just because I did not invite her to join in.....jeeze! Anyway, the folks are pretty goddamn fat in this area. Half the strippers at Southern Exposure in Huntington are at least a little chubby. Hell, around here guys carry flour with them so they can cover the gals in it in order to find the wet spot.

David Felinton, 5-foot-9 and 233 pounds If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe that this person's bmi is disproportional to his frame, but you be the judge. West Virginia is certainly one of the most racist and North-hating places in the country. Some friends of the family lived there for 2 years when the husband had a job offer there---to make a long story short, they were relieved in getting an opportunity in their home area so they could leave the town with "the black gas station". I'n not making this up. The shitehole of a state is segregated.

Hello all! This doesn't surprise me at all. Even back in the '70's,when I lived in Charleston, it was a never-ending Whale Watching Tour. God only knows what it's like now. Glad I'm not there to see, S.E. Pa is bad enough. Although, on the plus side, with a preponderence of porkers, guys like me(naturally lean & well muscled) had easy pickins each weekend. Ah..sweet memories of a wastrel life.

Obesity is a symptom of a chronic lack of education. Maybe if the mayor even cared he could run an ad campaign to teach people about food and exercise. Perhaps he could have the insight to legislate new food laws including reduced serving sizes? Too bad their mayor is as dumb as his constituants. Blind leading the blind. *sigh*

Y'all are missing the biggest point in the article. This corner of WVA is EXTREMELY POOR. No jobs that provide healthcare, no money to buy personal insurance. With today's economy this is the entire country's future! And thePundit -- You can keep yer da**ed opinions to yourself! I sure as Hell wouldn't move up North with all them da**ed Yankees!
