"The body was discovered by the driver in the hopper of the large turquoise sanitation truck."
If he'd only been picked up by the blue truck or the white truck, or even the puce truck he'd be alive today!
BTW, What the hell does the color of the "sanitation truck" have to do with anything?
It's like, I'm fed up with reporters today saying or putting in print, "the green 1990 Ford Tarus copnvertible collided with the four door 2004 red Pontiac at...."
It's just a matter of time before it becomes "The green 1990 Ford Tarus, purchased at Jim's Used Auto Sales during their "Spring Clearance" for less than $99 a month, collided with the one owner four door red pontiac bought from the used car lot at Crown Motors, Inc. which is conveniently located next to Bill's auto/body and crash shop, where their motto is 'Your Smash up is Our Business.'"
I once shot a TV news story about a strong wind that had damaged a local KFC francise store. I had no choice but to identify the location etc. The owner sent me a cupon for a free LARGE bucket of chicken.
I didn't use it until I left the news department to go into the commercial production department!
I need a drink.
