It's obvious from the ME's report that this was a spontaneous abortion probably unknown to the mother and therefore not a criminal matter. At 13 weeks, I'm surprised that the fetus was even discovered in the filter screen. It probably looked like a partially rotten drowned rat. Perhaps the discovering worker was on a lunch break.

It's not a fetus if it's been born. It's called a premature or stillborn Baby! This reporter needs to get his terminology right. Anyway, I hope this was just a miscarriage and mother didn't know what to do with the remains, and a premie baby was not harmed on purpose.

That is really sad :( You know unborn babies respond to touch at just 6 weeks from conception? They can feel pain just like a newborn baby. Why did you need to kill an innocent fetus, when you could've put her up for adoption? People are on waiting lists for years to get a newborn baby. There's even a waiting list for Downs Syndrome babies. By the way, if anyone remembers me from a couple of years ago, and I mentioned the doctor said my unborn baby likely had down's syndrome... Well he was born normal! He's doing just fine. His name is Andre. He loves to build blocks, and try on everyone's shoes. He's a little sweetheart. Sadly though, my husband just passed away a couple months ago, and now my son will be growing up without a father.

And by the way, I was 5 weeks when Clumpy made his debut. Now that I have your expert medical opinion I'm sure that neither one of us felt a thing!  I don't mean to get into an ethical debate over whether or not it is okay to remove an intruding entity from your own body if you so choose... BUT I think that it is reaching to consider a miscarried pregnancy at 13 weeks a stillborn baby. Its not like it has ANY chance of surviving at that point outside the womb. Just saying, that's rather ridiculous. Calling it human remains is like calling a scab human remains, but I guess its all a matter of perspective. I'm sure some sick fuck saves their scabs and gives them a proper burial at Samhain.
