It's Swedish, not German, and I speak Swedish fluently. Basically this is about some "artist" that has put up a lot of sexually explicit pictures inside a public library in Borlänge, Sweden. The mother in the picture says "Vad är det för fel på det här?", which translates into "What's wrong with this?". Then she goes on and says: "It's just natural." Looks like her kids are having a hard time deciding wether she's right or not. And btw, I'm not Swedish (thank god), I live in Finland and belong to swedish-speaking minority. Just had to clear that out.

Not too artistic, it looks like pictures that I drew in 6th grade. But also not surprising, I've been to Norway twice (although I know this is Swedish) The comic books, tabloids, and news have nudity and sexual references that would never be allowed in the U.S. For something like this to be in a library is a little too far, but out there anyone can find stuff like this in a grocery store. Most of the people that are regulars on this site are obviously American, so I can see how it is not conservitave enough for y'all.

The photo is another Academy Performance in the same class as the Berkeley "Mousie" family tragedy photo. As far as the "art" is concerned, I've seen better graffiti. Believe it or not! I have an 8 yr old girl who very recently said she didn't know what sex was. I know I gave her an extremely general description not too long ago. She obvioudly knows what a woman looks like, but no idea what a man looks like. I'm debating on showing her 'decent' (fairly non-sexual) pics of a man or even boy so she'll understand. I don't think I'd want her looking at those pics unless she was already well-conversed in sexual matters.

The concept is that since we are susposed to have recieved a passable degree of education in school, we should be able to find a way to at least get an idea of what it says. Being ignorant in a modern information based society is pathetic. 10 years ago it could have been acceptable to have be able to wrench some meaning out of the swedish babblings but since we are now beset by a wealth of informational aids to help us commnicate, it isen't all that hard to pick some meaning from it. And even if you only fucked off in either high school french and spanish the words PROTESTER, SEX and BIBLIOTEK are fairly clear. Then by looking at the pictures it is also inferable that someone isen't happy about it. But I suspose being ignorant and proud of it is acceptable to a large percentage of the US population so shame on me for using the one thing that sets me apart from the toothless filthy rabble, m'brain.
