The Geocache Terror Chronicles
Springfield News Sun | Submitted by: larry
"The man drove off when officers arrived. Police found 35-mm film canisters with a metal plate and electrical tape in the post, Lingrell said, and considered it suspicious-looking... Upon opening the canisters, investigators found paper with numbers and the names of players who had found the object written on it."

That's right, keep the sheeple nervous so we can become a totalitarian state under the guise of "security".

Upon opening the canisters, investigators found paper with numbers and the names of players who had found the object written on it. **** Just think in the immediate post 9/11 days they'd have just blown up the canisters to be on the safe side. Now they're confidant enough to open the things up so they can back-trace it and send the guy who left em there to Gitmo. That's what you call progress....

Those shop owners should have just took the cache and not told anyone. Then set up a camera and linked it to the cachers website!hilairity ensues. Hilairity and possibly violence on camera? Nice.

This has possibilities. Small, harmless items which can be left anywhere and shut down a whole street while the bomb squad investigate?

It's a good thing for both the worker-bees in Timmy's and the cops that stupidity is not yet a crime.

"Urbana police will present the information to a prosecutor, possibly today, to determine if any charges should be filed." Well of course charges should be filed... Against the cops... The charge is "excess douchebaggery". Of course, if their IQ was any higher, they wouldn't be cops.

Shove knitting needles in their eyes while taking blowtorches to their asses and cheese graters to their genitals, then dunk em in rubbing alcohol. What was this story about again?

That's nothing. The Air Force has managed to geo-cache a couple of hydrogen bombs around the world. I'm sure there is a nice reward for anyone who finds them.

Simple...Are you outside the house? Are you out of your chair? Are you away from the TV? Then you're a terrorist. 451 rules.
