TorrentSpy: Not gonna pay ridiculous $111M fine
Wired | Submitted by: anonymous
The MPAA, he said, wants "other torrent owners and operators to look at the $111 million figure and say, 'I'm getting out of the business.'" The TorrentSpy case, Baker said, "is another example of the studios eating these guys to death. They haven't tried the merits of the case."

[MPAA] I'd hit it. Fucking bastards. Have you ever seen one of those movies? Quality sucks ass. It's frustrating enough, that I went and just bought the damn things when they came out because trying to watch that little tiny shitty movie sucks ass.

This actually made me laugh. The MPAA people are ALMOST as bone-headedly stupid as the Hollywood writers/directors/producers who make the mindless crap that's being downloaded.
