"I'm not perfect but I try," Wood said from jail. "I'm not a horrible mom."

Let me be the judge of what kind of mom she is. I have seen houses that were pretty gaddamned bad, too. Most of the time, the kids survive, even if they reek of urine on the school bus, assuming they even attend school.

"I can't control how much mess is in their rooms," Woods said. "I constantly clean up after the kids. But I go to school full time also, online." ============= Going to school full-time ONLINE. Hahahaha. I wonder how far away she is from that degree in massage therapy. "Wood said she is a stay-at-home mom who takes care of her children." +++++++++++ She does? The article appears to contradict that.

Has anyone ever smelled the inside of a fridge that has been disconnected for a while? It is a smell that you would never forget for the rest of your life. The smell is indescribable.

For Christ's sake - that idiot's parents should have told her a long time ago to stop trying, because in her case, it obviously only makes matters worse. What an asshole.

maybe i'm missing something here, but even if she had a lap top, she would still need to charge it sometime. how is this done without electricity? i honestly don't think she had anything more than a desktop. i wanna see more pics of this filth hole to find said computer where she goes to school full time. besides that, even if there was an explanation for how she "went to school"... she's right in the house, everyday, surrounded in filth. like patsy said, a fridge that's been off totally stinks. no running water -- no flushing toilet, taking showers, or washing laundry. every parent here knows that kids aged 2 and 4 make a lot of smelly laundry. i'm also willing to bet that she wasn't all into potty training either child if she wouldn't even pick up a dish cloth or vacuum. i guess it all boils down to priorities... couldn't / wouldn't pay the electric and water bills to make sure her kids were taken care of, but she still somehow have internet... "to go to school".

No mention in the story of how many rugrats this neat-freak had and where is the father(s) of said rugrats? A story from Local6 news, no surprise there that this occurred in Floriduh.

I don't get these types of parents. "I'm not a bad mother". Oh really? And where in her mind does the way these children are being housed says "I get mother of the year"? She sounds like some of the women I go to AA with. They will swear they are not bad mothers. Meanwhile they are off sucking cock of every new guy that walks through the door. They have older children molesting their younger children and do nothing to stop it. Then will proclaim "I love my children, I am a good mommy". Really, what the fuck?

lidom [minalou wrecked] My parents used to say that a bit of dirt has never killed anyone... ---------------------- Your parents, alas, are stupid. Dirt has killed many people over the ages. Consider... -Being buried alive (in dirt) -Mudslides (dirt + water + slope) -Dirt can contain high traces of lead, arsenic, and even radioactive waste (some people eat dirt. They have pica, or are stupid like your parents) -Superheated pyroclastic flow (hot gas + hot dirt) -If you fall out of a plane and land (on dirt), the impact can result in major bodily harm In closing, your parents are stupid.

Aw Jesus, its not that bad. You should see the crust on my floor. I wonder if she cleans houses. I could use her around here. Besides, squalor is good for youngins. It kills off the weak ones, improving the gene pool. Sort of. I guess it depends on what you mean by "improve". Its one less mouth to feed, but then you take a hit on the welfare check and during tax time. I guess everything all balances out in the end afterall. Good to know. Priapus Rex aka Biggus Dickus

Ah yes RE13, the deadly sturzstrom. With the sturzing and the stromming. Which isn't to suggest that I don't know what a sturzstrom is! By no means. In fact, I could wax philosophical about a hundred sturzstroms, and would, except there's a Kenny vs. Spenny marathon coming on. Perhaps another day!

From: flayed [Flayed] Date: 10-May-2008 20:55 ------ Not contradicting most of what you said, but what I'm talking about is the right sort and amount of dirt that will prevent children from growing up to be little pussies, allergic to everything and scared to touch a doorknob without gloves... Although I admit that lady might have meant a little too well with her offspring

This is normal in the flaccid penile state of Florida. It's America's STD appendage. Mother cockroach wants her little bedbugs back so she can milk the system for more EBT's and money. Getting a great education (online)and prolly studying to become a rocket scientist. She's not a horrible mom, just a parasite that needs to be let lose from the gene pool. And don't forget, kids act out what they are taught at home.
